He made so many predictions for 2013 (promising nothing short of wonderland, milk and honey…
Nostradamus (and Santa Claus) have nothing on him.
I doubt he used anything that sophisticated. He probably used an 8-ball.

Seeing what’s in your crystal ball
Magic is truly everywhere. The real question is, Can you see it?
Without interpretation, everything is … well, it just is. Weather, for example. Weather is. It’s either raining or it sunny, cold and snowy or warm and balmy. If we welcome the sun, then a sunny day means it’s GOOD. If we welcome the rain, as in a farmer’s drought, then a sunny day means it’s BAD. Same day, different lens.
I used to watch Disney movies with one kind of feminist lens: The princesses were all these skinny little elfin like things that depended entirely on a prince to rescue them and provide them with a “happily for ever after.”
I now watch Disney with a completely different lens. Consider Cinderella. She thinks positive thoughts in spite of a life-style modification that the feint of heart would not be able to withstand. She endures constant criticisms and barking commands with a song and a few home-made little friends up in her attic room. Even the cat, who disdains her, Cinderella treats with fairness.
And above all else, Cinderella believes she is destined for greatness.
The true crisis of Cinderella’s mindset comes after her first dream is dashed. The home-made friends’ efforts of producing a ball-quality gown are dashed as the step-sisters shred Cinderella’s dress, and with it, her dreams. Cinderella runs to the garden crying, bemoaning her fate and saying that she has given up all hope that she will achieve her great dreams.
That’s when a little voice (fairy god mother, aka FGM) says, Really, my child? for if that were so I wouldn’t be here.
And that’s when the magic begins.
Magic is really truly all around us. The very fact that we have fully functional body WITH NO ONE AT THE DRIVER’S seat is actually incredibly mind boggling, don’t you think? I mean, really, how many times have you through thought kept your heart beating, or your blood flowing all through the right veins and arteries, or your cells rejenerating? Ummmm, never? You’re body is on auto-pilot. And it’s a stinking miracle!
Or consider this: Think of a childhood memory. Remember a distinct moment. Mine is when I was five, mesmorized watching these ants coming and going from their ant hill. We lived in the inner city, so dirt and sand was our front yard. Remember the smell of the moment. The weather. Who you were with. The sound you heard.Now … ready for the magic? As much as you think you were really there, guess what? You weren’t! Not one single cell in your body that you possess today actually existed. So all the experiences you hold on to now exist only in your thoughts. That is the one thread that ties you back to what actually may have happened 10, 20, or 40 years ago.
Or consider this: On a clear and starry night, go out and contemplate the heavens. And while you are thinking that this moment is real and here and now, guess what, it isn’t. The light from some of the stars you are seeing have travelled for 800 Billion (that rights, with a B) years prior to the image being seared upon your pupil. That star you are looking at right now may have ceased to exists, millions to billions of years ago. So when you look into the heavens, you can NEVER see what is, only what was.
Is your mind boggled yet? 
These are the things I sometimes think about when I get so caught up in an insignificant problem like my business maybe failing and oh dear, I may have to start all over again.
If you look for magic, you will find it. I guarantee you this!
