Any young girl or boy with a talent for golf has the potential to be a professional golfer. Remember however that this career choice is going to need lots of hard work and determination. With a good attitude, plenty of practice and talent, you could be on the brink of a very lucrative career.
The great thing about golf is that you alone can control your destiny. While you will compete against other players, at the end of the day you are answerable to one person only – that is yourself. You must have a comprehensive knowledge about the game, so be sure to obtain the best golf instruction book. If there is any aspect of your game that needs to be rectified, you can refer to the book. Buy a copy from a golfing pro shop or download one from the internet.
As with any other professional sport, golf requires peak physical fitness. This will provide you with stamina for the hours of practice ahead of you, and reduce your susceptibility to injury. It is imperative that your muscles have flexibility and looseness, while your shoulders, torso and hips are strong. To achieve this, it would be advisable to work with a personal trainer.

In order to obtain your card, you will have to do well in several top tournaments. Nevertheless, if you dig your heels in and stay focused, there is every chance that you can succeed. Even heroes like Tiger Woods had to go through this system!
